Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of software testing experience with strong GIS testing expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and preferably ArcFM and Utility Network.
• Experience with utility network models and GIS data workflows in Electric, Gas, Water, or Telecom domains.
• Experience with Python (ArcPy) for automation and data validation.
• Working knowledge of FME or similar data transformation/validation tools.
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, performance, and data validation testing.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and Agile collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for hands‑on quality assurance and testing of GIS applications and data workflows, ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of Esri‑based solutions. This role focuses on detailed test planning, preparing test scripts and scenarios, executing system, integration, regression, and performance tests, and producing clear test reports for GIS projects in the utilities domain.
