Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a GIS professional focused on ArcGIS development and data integration across utilities. You will lead design, development, and deployment of Web GIS solutions, extend ArcGIS Experience Builder widgets, and automate GIS workflows.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust GIS services and ensure quality in every deployment. The role requires strong communication, independent work ethic, and the ability to adapt to evolving project

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years’ experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, Online).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript framework – React etc.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS REST Services
• Ability to build ArcGIS Exp Builder widgets and Deploy
• Programming experience with ArcGIS JavaScript/REST APIs
• Extend/Customize ArcGIS Exp Builder Widgets (custom widgets) wherever deemed necessary
• Exemplary problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience in Python scripting
• Knowledge of ArcPy will be an added advantage
• Experience in PostgreSQL versioned enterprise geodatabase, branch versioned experience is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently, take direction and pro-actively manage time and work to maintain project schedules
• Build CI/CD Pipelines for deployment

Responsibilities

• Understanding Functional requirements and the Tech Solution as per documentation (or explained by the Lead)
• Ability to build and implement ArcGIS Experience Builder solutions- extend widgets wherever deemed necessary.
• Developing/Customizing Web GIS Solutions in ArcGIS Server JS framework.
• Automating repetitive GIS tasks with scripts and workflows to boost efficiency and cut manual effort
• Build/Deploy custom GP Services and SOE/SOI as per requirements.
• Managing software in source control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket
• Help building CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
• Facilitate UAT with the end users, participate and ST and SIT

• As part of the GIS(FME) team you will be part of the development, design, and delivery of Geographic Information System services to support utility industry clients. You integrate strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and successful collaboration to drive GIS initiatives across various client functions, including GIS applications, data conversions, and system integrations.
