Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

You will automate infrastructure with Terraform, manage Docker and Kubernetes (GKE), and collaborate with development and support teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI or Cloud Build.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Terraform for IaC automation.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing scalable GCP infrastructure patterns and reusable Terraform modules for multi-environment setups.
• Exposure to deployment strategies such as blue-green, canary, and rolling deployments, with a focus on reliability.
• Experience improving pipeline performance, implementing quality gates, and enabling faster feedback loops for teams.
• Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps (secrets management, IAM concepts, policy-driven access).
• Proven ability to mentor peers, drive automation initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement in delivery practices.
