Job summary

Hevo Technologies India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for Marketing to own the marketing experience end-to-end, spanning frontend, backend, performance, SEO, analytics, and integrations. The role involves migrating from Django and WordPress to Next.js, React, and TypeScript while ensuring high-traffic reliability and growth impact.

You will collaborate with Design, Growth, Marketing, SEO and Product teams to deliver high-converting pages and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and running production web applications end-to-end.
• Strong Python and Django experience with models, migrations, ORM, views, admin and Django REST Framework.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience (MySQL/Postgres).
• Expert-level HTML, CSS/SCSS and modern JavaScript.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience; Next.js preferred.
• Experience with server-rendered templates (Django templates) and WordPress/PHP or equivalent.
• Proven ability to improve performance for high-traffic sites (frontend and backend).
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD and AWS; modernizing legacy codebase.
• Ability to own projects from rough design to production.
• Growth/marketing engineering exposure and CRO/A/B testing experience valuable.
• CRM/ martech integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Technical SEO, WCAG accessibility, and Gutenberg/WordPress theme development.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the engineering behind hevodata.com — one of our highest-traffic and most important growth surfaces. This role goes beyond building frontend pages. You’ll own the experience end-to-end across frontend, backend, performance, SEO, analytics, integrations, experimentation, and deployment. You’ll work across our existing Django and WordPress stacks while leading the migration toward Next.js, React and TypeScript.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship high-converting marketing pages across Django and WordPress, owning the complete journey from data models and APIs to production UI.
• Extend Django models and admin capabilities so Marketing can publish and manage content independently.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations for forms, lead capture, signup/auth handoffs, content and search.
• Lead the Django Next.js / React / TypeScript / Tailwind migration while maintaining SEO, analytics and experimentation.
• Own website performance, including Core Web Vitals, TTFB, caching, query efficiency, CDN and asset optimization.
• Modernize legacy code, dependencies, build tooling and deployment workflows.
• Own CI/CD, Docker, AWS and production monitoring.
• Build and maintain A/B tests and CRO experiments.
• Own integrations across HubSpot, ATS systems, GA4/GTM and other marketing technologies.
• Drive technical SEO, accessibility, structured data, redirects and sitemap management.
• Establish automated testing and contribute to engineering standards through code reviews and mentorship.
• Partner closely with Design, Growth, Marketing, SEO, Product and Marketing Operations.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience building and running production web applications end-to-end.
• Strong production experience with Python and Django , including models, migrations, ORM, views, admin and Django REST Framework.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience with MySQL/Postgres.
• Expert-level HTML, CSS/SCSS and modern JavaScript .
• Strong React and TypeScript experience; Next.js experience is preferred.
• Experience with server-rendered/templated applications such as Django templates and PHP/WordPress or equivalent.
• Proven experience improving performance on a real, high-traffic website, including both frontend Core Web Vitals and backend response times.
• Working knowledge of Git, Docker, CI/CD and AWS .
• Experience working with and modernizing legacy codebases, build systems and dependencies.
• Ability to independently take ownership from a rough design or brief through production.
• Good to Have Growth or marketing engineering experience.
• A/B testing or CRO experience, including VWO or similar platforms.
• CRM/martech integrations such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Technical SEO experience on high-traffic websites.
• WordPress theme/Gutenberg development.
• Design systems and WCAG/accessibility experience.
