The Ops Layer is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer to partner with the founder and turn execution methodology into production-grade software. You will span the stack from front-end workflows to backend services and APIs, including LLM-powered inference pipelines and human-in-the-loop review systems.
Expect to tackle architectural decisions, security, testing, observability, and the evolution of the product, with Mumbai-based preference and exceptional remote candidates considered.
The Ops Layer builds execution systems for fast-scaling companies, helping founders and operators move from chaos to structured momentum. The team designs and installs operating systems that clarify decision-making, ownership, accountability, leadership cadence, and cross-functional execution flows. Core offerings include rapid diagnostics sprints, full Execution OS installations, strategic program leadership for high-stakes initiatives, and embedded delivery partnerships. The company works globally across APAC, EMEA, and North America and is trusted by leaders at organizations such as SolarWinds, Google, and Unilever. Engagements are productized, outcome-focused, and built for businesses where speed is outpacing internal coordination, with execution—not presentations as the primary deliverable.
The Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer will work directly with the founder to turn The Ops Layer’s execution methodology into production-grade software. You’ll build across the stack: front-end workflows, backend services and APIs, relational data models, LLM-powered inference pipelines, human-in-the-loop review systems, and secure handling of sensitive organizational data.
The harder problems are architectural rather than cosmetic: deciding where deterministic logic ends and model judgment begins, resolving inconsistent descriptions of the same organizational decision, preserving auditable inference history as evidence changes, and building systems that remain reliable as the product evolves.
You’ll have meaningful input into architecture, security, testing, observability and technical direction.
This is a contract role, with Mumbai preferred and exceptional remote candidates considered.
