Job summary

Optum seeks a senior software engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions within enterprise systems. You will work across front-end Angular and back-end .NET services, manage cloud infrastructure, and implement secure development practices.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, mentoring peers, and contributing to scalable, high-performance applications while leveraging no-code/low-code platforms to translate business needs into actionable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of software development experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience developing with .NET and C#.
• 4+ years of experience building responsive front-end applications with Angular.
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub workflows and JFROG Artifactory.
• Proven experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities using SAST and DAST tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement within the software development lifecycle
