Title: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – AI Applications

Location: Gurugram, India (Hybrid – 3 to 4 days onsite; Cab facility available)

Duration: 12 – 18 months

Type: Contract

Working Hours: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to develop production-grade applications, integrations, and user interfaces that incorporate AI and large language model capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer first, with hands-on experience across Python, TypeScript, backend services, APIs, and modern web development. This position does not require an AI researcher; however, candidates should have practical exposure to building software around AI models, assistants, agents, retrieval workflows, or related AI functionality. This role requires someone who can work independently, take ownership of complex engineering initiatives, and collaborate effectively with US-based product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade full-stack applications.
• Build backend services, APIs, integrations, and modern web interfaces using Python and TypeScript.
• Develop and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into existing and new applications.
• Work with LLM APIs, AI frameworks, assistants, agents, retrieval workflows, or similar technologies.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Integrate internal platforms with third-party services, APIs, databases, and AI models.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, integration, and application issues.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from technical planning through production delivery.
• Collaborate with US-based engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, dependencies, and progress clearly across distributed teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with both Python and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated full-stack development experience across frontend and backend systems.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs, backend services, integrations, and modern web applications.
• Proven experience delivering reliable, production-grade software—not solely prototypes or proofs of concept.
• Familiarity with application architecture, databases, authentication, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Practical exposure to AI or LLM-enabled applications, integrations, frameworks, assistants, agents, RAG workflows, or similar functionality.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively when requirements are still evolving.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with US-based teams and provide consistent time-zone overlap.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with modern TypeScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, prompt design, model evaluation, guardrails, or AI observability.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
• Experience working within globally distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
