Persistent Systems is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Python and React to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications from Pune. You will work across frontend and backend, building AI-enabled features, and integrating with microservices and cloud-native architectures.

You will design modern UIs with React/TypeScript, implement robust RESTful APIs with FastAPI, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components and libraries.
• Implement efficient state and data management using TanStack Query and Zustand.
• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and implement backend services to support enterprise-scale applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and enterprise systems.
• Design, develop, and support AI agents and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Build intelligent workflows leveraging AI and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.
• Design and maintain MongoDB databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and high availability across applications.
• Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain production applications.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Participate in architecture discussions, solution design reviews, and technical planning sessions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Debug and resolve complex frontend and backend issues.
• Identify application bottlenecks and implement performance optimization strategies.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Full Stack application development.
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS for modern UI development.
• Strong knowledge of TanStack Query and Zustand for state management.
• Extensive experience with Python development and FastAPI framework.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database design principles.
• Experience implementing scalable and secure backend solutions.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and practical implementation approaches.
• Experience working with AI Agents, Agent Orchestration, or intelligent automation workflows.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI frameworks is preferred.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and Scrum-based environments.
