Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer in India to design and implement cloud-based enterprise applications. You will work across front-end and back-end layers, collaborating with engineers, product owners and stakeholders to deliver scalable features.

You will lead design discussions, apply best practices in coding and security, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while exploring multiple tech stacks. A strong focus on performance, testing, and internationalization is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.
• Minimum 5 years in front-end stack; Angular preferred.
• Full stack experience across front-end (Angular/React) and back-end (Go/Python/NodeJS).
• Experience with AWS cloud and serverless is a plus.
• Strong coding with design patterns and standards.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational DBs (MongoDB).
• Ability to lead technical discussions and governance, code reviews and delivery.

• Expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and can implement them using language of choice when necessary.
• Define and own coding and design standards, ensures secure development practices, establishes expectations around performance, drives internationalization, and manages CI/CD pipelines.
• Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and testing techniques.
• Applying software development best practices for clean, testable, modular & scalable code to continuously improve our code and processes.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).


• Have minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end-stack (Angular preferred but excellent polyglot expertise across multiple technologies is added advantage)


• Full stack experience building performant & user-friendly end-to-end application across both front-end (Angular/React) and back-end using GoLang/Python/NodeJs.


• Have an experience in AWS cloud and its Services. Working experience of serverless an added advantage


• Have a good coding experience with design patterns and coding standards


• Have an experience on working with Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NonRelational DBs (Mongo DB)


• Good to have technical design and architecture creation experience.


• Excellent problem solving, analysis & attention to details skills.


• A continuous learner who likes challenges and willing to expand exposure to different tech-stacks across all application layers.


• Good to have handling and leading the technical team, governance, code reviews and delivery experience.
