Job summary

New Vision Softcom & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Pune, is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead a software development team in a hybrid model. You will design, develop and deploy enterprise-scale applications using .NET, React, Azure and AI-focused approaches.

The role requires guiding architecture and ensuring performance, stability and code quality across services. You will collaborate with product managers and architects, writing tests and documenting technical decisions while driving CI pipelines

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technology stack.
• Azure full-stack development with a strong AI-first approach in the recent 12–18 months.
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable C# code.
• Experience designing, building and testing Web APIs.
• Knowledge of IIS configuration for web apps.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, Web API and object-oriented programming.
• Proficient with relational databases (MS SQL) and ADO.NET.
• Experience with source control tools (TFS, SVN, VSO).
• Good grasp of C# syntax and OOP principles.
• Understanding of scalable architecture and CI practices.
• Azure knowledge and optional familiarity with chart libraries.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed design and the day-to-day running of a software development team
• This will include advising on and contributing to the implementation and delivery of software components.
• You will also own, the operational stability of the components you build and, be in a position, to affect change to improve the ongoing robustness, resiliency and stability of those components.
• The role requires proven experience in planning, specifying, developing and deploying high-performance, robust and resilient enterprise applications
• To design and develop high-volume, high-performance, high availability-based applications using proven web technologies
• To write unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality
• To assist in defining the team's technical strategy and advising on product roadmaps and migration plans to achieve strategic goals
• To write concise yet comprehensive technical documentation
• To liaise with the product manager and technical architect to explore and suggest appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product
• Involvement in requirement discussions and status reporting with customers and internal stakeholders

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with a minimum of 8 years in Microsoft Technology stack.
• Azure full stack developer withstrong AI first approach applied over the last 12-18 months
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
• Experience designing, building, and testing Web APIs
• Should be aware of using and configuring web applications in IIS
• Should have knowledge of the ASP.MVC framework architecture, Web API, and Object- oriented programming
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL, primarily MSSQL, and ADO.Net.
• Should have knowledge of Source Control Management tools TFS, SVN, and VSO.
• Good understanding of the syntax of C# and its nuances
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• A knack for writing clean, readable, reusable C# code
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Knowledge / Experience of Microsoft Azure will be a plus.
• Knowledge of chart libraries like Charts.js, C3.js, D3.js will be plus
• Self-motivated requiring less mentoring
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Aware of working in Agile project development model
