NIQ for Digital Commerce in Chennai/Pune is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead frontend development, owning the client-side UI, building scalable components, and driving the long-term UI product strategy.

You will work with JavaScript, React, and TypeScript, leverage UI infrastructure, apply domain-driven design, and optimize for performance while collaborating with cloud platforms and integrating AI-assisted coding and testing into daily workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience.
• 3+ years of React and TypeScript developing web apps.
• B.Sc in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience building UI infrastructure and components.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid business and product understanding.
• Self-motivated with ability to plan and execute goals.

Responsabilités

Senior Software Engineer, Chennai/Pune

NIQ, a well-funded company, develops a cloud-based, self-service customer analytics and personalization solution for retailers. This solution helps retailers leverage their customer data to improve loyalty and engagement.

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Frontend Software Engineer to join our growing team, who can lead, initiate, create, and optimize our data and analytics technologies while pushing the company's data management systems to the next step.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
• Responsibility for the client side of the application (a highly sophisticated User Interface)
• Define and drive the long-term UI product strategy
• Applies domain-driven design (DDD) principles to complex business logic.
• Optimizes code for performance, scalability, and observability.
• Uses profiling tools to analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize application response times.
• Works with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understands cloud-native development principles.
• Contributes to architectural decisions and evaluates emerging technologies for adoption.
• Implements security measures such as OAuth, JWT, encryption.
• Provides technical mentorship and shares best practices across teams.
• Integrates AI-driven coding, testing, and documentation into daily workflow with high accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of Javascript, HTML and CSS experience
• At least 3 years of React & TypeScript experience, developing web applications
• B.Sc in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in developing UI infrastructure (UI components)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Be highly detail oriented yet a strong business & product understanding
• Self-motivated and able to define, plan and implement goals, tasks and projects
