Job summary

Big Oh Notation is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer in Chennai to own and deliver high-performance React + TypeScript features for a real-time trading platform. You will work closely with the CEO and product team on the roadmap, charting, SDK development, and data visualization, taking ownership from concept through production.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, fast decision making, and delivering robust frontend architecture for data-heavy market data products.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of frontend engineering experience.
• Experience with large, complex, stateful applications.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture and performance optimization.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time/data-heavy applications.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend systems.
• Experience in FinTech, trading, financial services, or market-data products.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong React and TypeScript expertise and experience in financial services/trading products.

You will work closely with the CEO across our real-time trading terminal, charting platform, SDK, and core product roadmap. This is a hands-on role requiring strong ownership, technical decision-making, and the ability to deliver with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
