Role: Senior Frontend Developer | React.js, TypeScript and Real-Time UI

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, maintainable and high-performance presentation-layer capabilities. The role requires deep expertise in React.js and TypeScript, with a strong focus on component-driven engineering, advanced state management, responsive design and reliable backend integration. The successful candidate will build real-time, data-intensive and visualization-oriented user experiences for complex applications. They will work closely with UI/UX, frontend, backend and microservices teams to establish reusable architecture, robust integration patterns and consistently high engineering quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for frontend architecture and contribute directly to presentation-layer development using React.js and TypeScript.
• Design, develop and maintain modern React applications using functional components, Hooks, composition patterns, memoization and reusable custom hooks.
• Create reusable, modular and scalable UI component libraries aligned with a shared design system and sustainable frontend architecture.
• Deliver responsive, accessible and interactive interfaces for complex workflows and real-time user experiences across multiple layouts and resolutions.
• Design and maintain WebSocket-based interfaces and integrate frontend applications with backend services through REST, streaming APIs, HTTPS, gRPC and related communication layers.
• Implement predictable and maintainable state-management solutions using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API or comparable patterns.
• Build structured navigation and route-based application architecture using React Router.
• Translate Figma or equivalent design artefacts into accurate, responsive and production-ready user interfaces.
• Develop modules for real-time dashboards, waveform views, readouts, imaging-focused interfaces and other data-intensive workflows.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend engineers and backend or microservices teams to deliver well-integrated solutions.
• Optimize rendering, data flow and backend communication to improve performance, responsiveness, scalability and maintainability.
• Document interface designs, API contracts, message formats and integration patterns.
• Maintain engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews, debugging, profiling and established frontend best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of overall software development experience, with no more than 14 years of total experience for this position.
• At least 7 years of hands-on frontend development experience with a strong focus on React.js.
• Strong practical experience using TypeScript in production React applications.
• Deep understanding of modern React patterns, including Hooks, functional components, composition, memoization and reusable custom hooks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS.
• Experience building reusable UI components, shared frontend modules or design-system-driven interfaces.
• Experience implementing responsive and adaptive interfaces across different screen sizes, layouts and resolutions.
• Strong experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API or comparable state-management approaches.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with WebSockets, REST APIs, streaming APIs, HTTPS and gRPC.
• Experience working with microservices architecture and frontend-to-backend integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of React Router and route-based application architecture.
• Experience with Vite or similar modern frontend build tooling.
• Strong debugging, profiling and performance-optimization skills for dynamic or data-heavy interfaces.
• Familiarity with frontend testing and component-validation practices.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Excellent communication, documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microfrontend architecture and feature-based frontend organization.
• Experience building real-time dashboards, industrial user interfaces or visualization-heavy applications.
• Experience with waveform, readout, imaging or graphical-rendering interfaces.
• Exposure to design-token systems, theming and UI-kit integration.
