Job summary

Amura Health in Chennai is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (AI-Enabled) to design, build and scale the frontend systems behind our patient and doctor platforms. You will own features end to end, from design to production performance, and collaborate across teams.

You'll work with React and/or React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript, and apply AI-enabled workflows to create faster, smarter user experiences while maintaining high quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience (career started 2019 or later).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of caching systems like Redis.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS.
• Strong system design and scalability skills.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Proficient in React and/or React Native.
• Strong JavaScript, preferably TypeScript.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with familiarity of React/Angular/Vue.

The Role

You will design, build and scale the systems behind our patient and doctor platforms, working across multiple tech platforms, majorly frontend. You will own features end to end, from system design to production performance, and use AI tools and workflows to build faster and smarter.

Experience Required

• 4-7 years of relevant experience (career started 2019 or later)

Frontend & Systems

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of caching systems like Redis

• Projects built using AI (LLMs, AI agents, automation or AI-assisted development)
• A strong desire to keep learning and apply AI to real problems
