Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Forward Deployment Engineer to lead design, deployment, and integration of AI-powered solutions using AWS AI services, Bedrock, and Generative AI technologies.

You will build intelligent automation and custom Gen AI applications, bridging Cornerstone product engineering with enterprise customer teams to ensure seamless delivery of Agentic capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent senior experience).
• 3+ years hands-on experience in enterprise software deployment or systems integration.
• 1–2 years deploying products built on Generative AI / LLMs in production.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (NLP, vector databases, semantic search).
• Design and develop scalable APIs and microservices for AI model deployment and integration.
• Ownership mindset to see tasks through from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deployments and integrations of AI-native products at enterprise accounts, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Own solution architecture, implementation strategy, and long-term adoption with customers.
• Partner with customers to understand their challenges and design AI-driven solutions using GenAI.
• Identify and prototype custom solutions—scripts, APIs, and AI workflow extensions.
• Stay current with enterprise integration tech and AI trends to elevate engagements.
• Conduct regular check-ins, demos, and progress reviews, flag risks and milestones.
• Drive technical decisions evaluating frameworks and tools for simplicity and maintainability.
• Identify recurring problems and push automation and tooling improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to engineering and client-facing talks.

Senior Forward Deployment Engineer

Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) who will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions using AWS AI services, Bedrock, and Generative AI technologies. You will be responsible for building intelligent automation solutions and creating custom Gen AI applications serving as critical bridge between Cornerstone’s product engineering teams and our strategic enterprise customer teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Agentic applications. As an FDE, you will drive successful deployments of AI-powered Workforce Agility products and assist customer needs into product innovations.

In this role you will…

• Assist with technical deployments and integrations of Cornerstone's AI-native Workforce Agility products at strategic enterprise accounts, ensuring high-impact, successful outcomes.
• Work closely with customer engagements — owning solution architecture, implementation strategy, and long-term adoption planning.
• Partner directly with customers to deeply understand their workforce challenges, then design and deliver tailored AI-driven solutions leveraging Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks.
• Identify and prototype custom solutions — including scripts, APIs, and AI workflow extensions — that accelerate customer time-to-value.
• Stay current with enterprise integration technologies, AI advancements, and industry trends to continuously elevate customer engagements.
• Conduct regular client check-ins, demos, and progress reviews — proactively communicating risks, blockers, and milestones.
• Drive technical decisions by evaluating frameworks, tools, and approaches with a bias for simplicity and long-term maintainability.
• Identify recurring problems and invest in automation, tooling, or process improvements that benefit the broader team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to both internal engineering discussions and external client-facing presentations.

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience in senior enterprise technical roles).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise software deployment, systems integration, or solutions engineering — with strong proficiency in Python, Java, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience deploying or integrating products built on Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic Frameworks in production enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (NLP, recommendation systems, LLMs, vector databases, semantic search) sufficient to implement AI-native solutions.
• Design and develop scalable APIs and microservices for AI model deployment and MCP integration.
• Ownership mindset — you see things through from start to finish without waiting to be told what to do next.
• Excellent communication skills — ability to articulate technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by influence — driving alignment across teams, mentoring peers, and raising engineering standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track, prioritize, and deliver across multiple concurrent workstreams independently.
• A bias for action balanced with sound judgment — you move fast but don't cut corners.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of turning vague requirements into concrete, deliverable plans.
• Outstanding problem-solving instincts — able to diagnose ambiguous customer environments quickly and drive toward solutions under pressure.
