Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Senior Forward Deployment Engineer to lead the design, deployment of AI-powered solutions using AWS Bedrock and Generative AI technologies. This on-site role is based at our Hyderabad office and serves as a bridge between product engineering and enterprise customer teams.

You will drive deployments, own solution architecture, and partner with customers to tailor AI-driven workflows, APIs, and integrations while staying current with AI advancements and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in enterprise software deployment or systems integration.
• 1–2 years deploying AI/Gen AI in production.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deployments and integrations of AI-native products at enterprise accounts.
• Own solution architecture and deployment strategy with customers.
• Design and deliver AI-driven solutions using Generative AI.
• Prototype custom solutions including scripts and APIs.

Senior Forward Deployment Engineer

Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for aForward Deployment Engineer (FDE) who will lead the design, development, anddeployment of AI-powered solutions using AWS AI services, Bedrock, andGenerative AI technologies. You will be responsible for building intelligentautomation solutions and creating custom Gen AI applications serving ascritical bridge between Cornerstone’s product engineering teams and ourstrategic enterprise customer teams to ensure seamless integration and deliveryof Agentic applications. As an FDE, you will drive successful deployments ofAI-powered Workforce Agility products and assist customerneeds intoproduct innovations.

In this role you will…

• Assist with technical deployments andintegrations of Cornerstones AI-native Workforce Agility products at strategic enterprise accounts, ensuring high-impact, successful outcomes.
• Work closely with customer engagements— owning solution architecture, implementation strategy, and long-term adoptionplanning.
• Partner directly with customers todeeply understand their workforce challenges, then design and deliver tailoredAI-driven solutions leveraging Generative AI and Agentic Frameworks.
• Identify and prototype customsolutions — including scripts, APIs, and AI workflow extensions — thataccelerate customer time-to-value.
• Stay current with enterpriseintegration technologies, AI advancements, and industry trends to continuouslyelevate customer engagements.
• Conduct regular clientcheck-ins, demos, and progress reviews — proactively communicating risks,blockers, and milestones.
• Drive technical decisions by evaluatingframeworks, tools, and approaches with a bias for simplicity and long-termmaintainability.
• Identify recurring problems and invest inautomation, tooling, or process improvements that benefit the broaderteam.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contributeto both internal engineering discussions and external client-facingpresentations.

Youve got what it takes if you have…

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in ComputerScience, Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience insenior enterprise technical roles).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience inenterprise software deployment, systems integration, or solutions engineering —with strong proficiency in Python, Java, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience deploying orintegrating products built on Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic Frameworks inproduction enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts(NLP, recommendation systems, LLMs, vector databases, semantic search)sufficient to implement AI-native solutions.
• Design and develop scalable APIs and microservices for AI modeldeployment and MCP integration.
• Ownership mindset — yousee things through from start to finish without waiting to be told what to donext.
• Excellent communication skills — ability to articulatetechnical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders withclarity and confidence.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by influence — driving alignmentacross teams, mentoring peers, and raising engineering standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track, prioritize,and deliver across multiple concurrent workstreams independently.
• A bias for action balanced with sound judgment — you move fast butdont cut corners.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a track record of turning vaguerequirements into concrete, deliverable plans.
• Outstanding problem-solving instincts — able to diagnoseambiguous customer environments quickly and drive toward solutions underpressure.
