Job summary

Alten Group is seeking a seasoned Firmware Failure Analyst in Bengaluru to investigate firmware/software field failures using ECU logs, traces, and embedded debugging tools. You will support cross-functional root-cause analysis for automotive systems and CAPA recommendations.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience in automotive ECU firmware debugging, strong Embedded C/C++, and proficiency with JTAG, trace tools, and CAN/CAN FD, LIN or Automotive Ethernet.

Qualifications

Firmware Failure Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Firmware Failure Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will investigate and analyze firmware/software-related field failures, utilizing ECU logs, diagnostics, traces, and embedded debugging tools. Your work will directly support cross-functional hardware/software root-cause analysis, ensuring the reliability and performance of our automotive systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems and automotive ECU firmware debugging.

This position demands a meticulous and detail-oriented professional who can effectively communicate complex technical findings and contribute to comprehensive CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze ECU logs, diagnostic data, traces, and error codes.
