Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals.
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Monitor and manage the company's financial performance, analyzing financial data and providing strategic recommendations to the executive team.
• Lead and supervise the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
• Manage financial risk by evaluating and mitigating potential risks, implementing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and presentations for stakeholders, board meetings, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a start-up ecosystem; minimum 8 -10 years in a finance function and at least 5 years in a senior finance role, demonstrating progressive leadership and managerial skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Leadership abilities with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
