Job summary

AXA XL in Gurgaon, India seeks a Senior Finance Executive for the Chief Accounting & Capital Office on a contract basis. You will handle general ledger restructuring, group treaty accounting, and monthly/quarterly closings, collaborating with global onshore teams and internal partners.

The role requires accounting/finance education and strong communication skills, with proficiency in Excel/Access/Word. Insurance industry experience is a plus and located in Gurgaon area.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Post Graduate with relevant years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Robust communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams across the globe.
  • Intermediate IT skills (MS Excel, MS Access, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Processing manual adjustment to incorporate legal entity, operating units, and other chart field level restructuring / changes in General Ledger.
  • Manage the BAU deliverables related to accounting/reporting of group treaties (incl. internal) & Ceded Re treaty accrual postings on quarterly basis.
  • Posting of manual journal entries in the EBS/HFM as and when needed.
  • Preparing analysis/reports and reconciliations on various ad-hoc requests as and when requested.
  • Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and internal teams.
  • Assist as necessary in the monthly & quarterly closing process.

What youll be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Processing manual adjustment to incorporate legal entity, operating units, and other chart field level restructuring / changes in General Ledger.
