Atlas Copco Group is seeking a skilled SAP FICO Consultant to design, configure, implement, and support SAP Finance and Controlling solutions across manufacturing. The role requires deep expertise in CO, cross-module integration, and lead workshops for solution design.

• 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, Rollouts and support projects.
• Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP and PM.
• Must be knowledgeable in IDOCs and have some ABAP experience for debugging.
• Involved in at least 2 full life cycle SAP implementations including requirements gathering, configure/prototype solution alternatives, implementing solutions post go-live support.
• Experienced in COPA, Material Ledger, Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, New General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting (DME, EBS), and Localization/Taxation.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner to realize the Product strategy by eliciting and managing detailed Business requirements and designing technology-enabled Business use cases.
• Document functional specifications and requirements for conversions, upgrades, interfaces, business logic, reports, forms and workflow.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Business stakeholders to conduct paper-based design activities, capturing high-level system flows and possible technology solutions.
• Supports technical delivery activities by advising Developers on expected system behavior based on clear Business requirements.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
• Performs functional testing on delivered solutions and creates checklists to support junior consultants.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
• Handles configuration changes and emergency transport for high priority production issues.

Your Role:

The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Finance and Controlling solutions aligned with complex business requirements across manufacturing industry. The role demands deep expertise in Finance & Controlling (CO), strong cross module integration, and the ability to lead requirement workshops and solution design independently

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Owner to realize the Product strategy by eliciting and managing detailed Business requirements (e.g., features, user stories) and designing technology-enabled Business use cases.
• Document functional specifications and requirements for conversions, upgrades, interfaces, business logic, reports, forms and workflow.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Business stakeholders to conduct paper-based design activities, capturing high-level system flows and possible technology solutions.
• Supports technical delivery activities by advising Developers, etc. on expected system behavior, informed by clear Business requirements.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
• Performs functional testing on delivered solutions, ensuring it fulfils detailed business requirements; creates checklists and/or processes to support junior Functional Consultants on testing activities.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
• Handles configuration changes and emergency transport for high priority production issues (as needed).
• Acts as a subject matter expert to the Business and IS on relevant ERP modules, providing key functional guidance to inform the approach to realizing Business needs and architectural evolution.
• Able to operate autonomously, with outputs typically require no or limited review by a peer or direct supervisor.
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering multiple projects (sometimes concurrently) involving cross functional teams.
• Provide functional support related to SAP and other applications like Vertex, Concur, Esker, etc

To succeed, you will need:

Scope of the Job:

The Senior FICO Functional Consultant is responsible for eliciting and managing detailed Business requirements by building a close working relationship with Business stakeholders (typically VP-1 and VP-2). They configure ERP components and modules, designing and executing functional tests to ensure the technology solutions meet requirements. They document system processes and user guides, providing training to Business and IS teams on newly delivered solutions.The Senior Functional Consultant reports into the Product Owner.
