Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in Dadra is seeking a Senior Executive to oversee Warehouse & Dispatch operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, SAP-based transactions, and compliant dispatch documentation for both domestic and export shipments.

The role requires hands-on SAP experience, cGMP/GDP knowledge, and 8–10 years in pharmaceutical logistics, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in Warehouse, Stores, Dispatch, or Logistics functions within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience in SAP inventory and dispatch transactions.
• Familiarity with cGMP, GDP, and regulatory documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage storage, issuance, reconciliation, and movement of materials in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform periodic physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation between SAP and physical inventory.
• Handle dispatched documentation including packing lists, GST invoices, e-Way Bills, and transport-related documents through SAP.
• Coordinate domestic and export shipments, ensuring proper packing, palletization, and loading of materials prior to dispatch.
• Maintain warehouse records and reports to ensure audit and inspection readiness.
• Support deviation, incident, and investigation activities related to warehouse and dispatch operations.

Key responsibilities:

To ensure efficient warehouse and dispatch operations through effective inventory management, SAP transaction handling, dispatch documentation, export logistics coordination, and compliance with cGMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.

Warehouse Management

• Manage storage, issuance, reconciliation, and movement of materials in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform periodic physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation between SAP and physical inventory.
• Handle rejected, expired, and non-conforming materials as per established procedures.
• Maintain warehouse records and documentation to ensure audit and inspection readiness.

Dispatch & Logistics

• Prepare and process dispatch documentation including packing lists, GST invoices, e-Way Bills, and transport-related documents through SAP.
• Coordinate domestic and export shipments, including air and sea consignments.
• Ensure proper packing, palletization, physical verification, and loading of materials prior to dispatch.
• Liaise with transporters and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.

SAP & Documentation

• Generate and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and transportation bills.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of warehouse and dispatch transactions in SAP.
• Maintain departmental records and reports in compliance with cGMP and Data Integrity requirements.

Compliance & Quality Systems

• Perform daily verification/calibration checks of weighing balances and monitor warehouse environmental conditions.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, EHS, and site procedures.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Support deviation, incident, and investigation activities related to warehouse and dispatch operations.
• Contribute to SOP preparation, review, and revision activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and service levels.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in Warehouse, Stores, Dispatch, or Logistics functions within pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience in SAP inventory and dispatch transactions.
