Senior Executive – Public Relations & Social Media

We are looking for a Senior Executive – Public Relations & Social Media, someone who can own narratives, manage media relationships, and align PR with digital storytelling—preferably with hands‑on agency experience.

Responsibilities

Public Relations

• Develop, refine, and execute PR strategies aligned with client communication goals.
• Draft high‑quality press releases, media notes, briefing documents, and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists across print, digital, and broadcast media.
• Manage daily media outreach, follow‑ups, and story pitching for maximum visibility.
• Monitor media trends, competitor movement, and emerging narratives.
• Prepare monthly media performance reports and PR evaluation dashboards.
• Analyze industry conversations to spot positioning opportunities for clients.
• Map ongoing and upcoming narratives relevant to specific sectors.
• Leverage PR tools such as Meltwater, Wizikey, Cision, Google Alerts, etc.
• Provide early‑warning signals for issues and potential crises.

Social Media & Digital Coordination

• Align PR messaging with digital and social media content calendars.
• Coordinate with internal creative and strategy teams for integrated campaigns.
• Support social media strategy with trends, content ideas, and messaging alignment.
• Assist in planning social‑first narratives and reactive content.

Client & Internal Management

• Act as the day‑to‑day point of contact for client communication.
• Ensure timely delivery of PR tasks with thorough documentation and follow‑through.
• Collaborate with design, video, and creative teams for campaign rollouts.
• Support senior leadership in preparing pitches, proposals, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields.
• 2–4 years of experience in Public Relations or Communications (agency experience preferred).
