Job summary

KSB is seeking a Documentation and Project Coordination specialist in Maharashtra. You will convert customer requirements into formal project documents, prepare and submit GADs for Instrument & Electrical equipment, and manage document submission schedules with vendors and consultants.

You'll coordinate with PM/PS, TSS, Purchase and Production to resolve issues, create aggregate BOMs, ensure compliance with QMS, and drive timely delivery of documents while avoiding commercial delays.

Qualifications

• Good product and technical knowledge of centrifugal pumps.
• Familiarity with API, VDI, ASTM, DIN, IEC standards.
• Proficiency in SAP SD/PP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer requirements from indents into customer documents.
• Prepare and submit project Instrument & Electrical drawings and documents.
• Expedite submissions and update schedules with customers/consultants.
• Create aggregate BOM of Instrument & Electrical equipment per QMS.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain required documents.
• Coordinate with PM/PS, TSS, Purchase and Production to resolve issues.
• Intern departmental coordination to ensure timely document delivery.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Convert Customers requirements received through Indents from TSS, into documents required by Customers.
2. Prepare & submit project Instrument & Electrical equipments (Motor, Panels Junction Box etc) drawing (GAD’s) & documents as required by Customer/Consultants.
3. Expedite document submission & approvals from Customer / Consultants & update document submission schedules regularly.
4. Create aggregate BOM of Instrument & Electrical equipment (Motor, Panels Junction Box etc). Ensure that all requirements as per the KSB QMS and other systems are being followed.
5. Closely coordinate with vendor & get the documents to fulfil the documentation requirement,
6. Co-ordinate for redressal of issues related to various departments like PM&PS, TSS, Purchase and production to ensure smooth progress of project.
7. Intern department (TSS, PM & PS, Purchase) co-ordination to ensure timely delivery of documents without commercial impacts (LD’s, penalties etc.) if applicable.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirement profile:

D.M.E. Mechanical / Production with 4 to 6 Years of relevant experience

B. E. - Mechanical / Production with 2 to 3 Years of relevant experience

Preferably from Pump industry with handling project business

Functional Skills

• Good product / technical knowledge and experience of Centrifugal pump
• Knowledge of various Standards like API, VDI, ASTM HIS, DIN, IEC etc
• Proficiency in SAP – SD/PP Module and MS Office (Specially Excel).
• Exposure to Excel, Word, Power Point applications
• Exposure to Auto CAD and UG NX
