Job summary

Makemarks in Mumbai seeks a design-focused packaging professional to adapt lead design layouts across extended formats, variants, and ranges, adjusting assets, layouts, and images as needed. You will ensure brand standards across multiple portfolios, collaborate with Packaging QA to guarantee file-build accuracy, and review work with a critical eye for layout and detail.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Design/Production within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry, strong print-process

Qualifications

• Has a good understanding of Consumer-packaged goods and packaging production
• Is aware of print processes and their impact on packaging file creation
• Has good attention to detail, striving for accuracy in file building and content creation
• Has some experience in image handling and adapting them in Photoshop
• Has a natural eye for branding, design, hierarchy, layout, typography, spacing, and color
• Has a good understanding of how to work with a brand and its assets with craft and diligence
• Has good interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal
• Has the ability to work to given deadlines in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment
• A working understanding of Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• A portfolio showcasing your abilities to apply creative inputs and in building packaging art solutions
• 5 years (minimum) working in a Design and/or Production role within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
