Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated seeks a Senior Executive - Maintenance (Electrical) for its Sonipat plant. You will lead electricians and instrumentation technicians on the assigned shift, overseeing maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and safety compliance to keep packaging lines running.

You will partner in CAPEX and OPEX project executions, manage spare parts, and coach team members to build capability. A B.Tech/B.E.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years' industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience leading electricians and instrumentation technicians.
• Exposure to HV work and safety/regulatory checks.
• Experience in food/beverages/pharma industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electricians & instrumentation technicians on the assigned shift; manage tasks and direction.
• Provide technical resource for escalated electrical/mechanical issues.
• Partner in CAPEX & OPEX project executions and spare management.

Primary Responsibility

To lead the Electricians & Instrumentation technicians of assigned Shift, responsible for specific packaging line(s) or unit(s), with overall responsibility of performance. Provide technical resource when mechanical or electrical issues are escalated. Provide daily task management and direction setting. Partner in CAPEX & OPEx project executions, spare management. Ensure assigned area performs as expected by ensuring overall standards are maintained. Single shift leadership responsibilities; provide coaching and development opportunities for team members and facilitate and encourage teamwork.

• Ensures debottlenecking the breakdowns of complex nature including advanced planned maintenance, certified inspections, ensuring high voltage work is performed with appropriate safety and regulatory checks,develop equipment/ component improvement programs, perform predictive maintenance, develop inspection programs, advanced PLCand equipment redesign (Both Standard and Non-Standard Conditions). Operation and safety of Utility equipment: Boiler, Refrigeration plant, Transformer, Gensets
• Set the direction of shift team and ensure overall performance of the team to meet objectives for productivity and process reliability. Develops and tracks the right KPIs indicating the performance of engineering vertical
• Ensures regulatory, statutory compliances, ensuring a safe work environment and reporting food safety issues to the site leadership. Participates in cross-functional improvement teams and problem solving activities
• Provides technical expertise for both break down/ utility/ other electrical issues escalated by Maintenance technicians. Coaches maintenance technician to increase skill development
• Investigate and communicate root cause failure analysis, including recommending and implement resolutions.
• Communicate daily with Team Managers & team and follow up on corrective action assignments. Develops the capability of team through reskilling, upskilling and multiskilling
• Participate in the interview process, training, mentoring and coaching the team, ensures on-boarding and early development of team members
• Maintaining appropriate controls and track of inventory of spare & consumable. Ensures the traction and judicious spend on the financial diligence, budget control
• Leading and managing the vendor engagement. CAPEX & OPEX Project execution and documentation as per CQV guideline

Graduate: (B.Tech / BE) Electrical/Electrical & Electronics engineering with relevant experience of 3-5 Yrs.experience in an Industrial electrical engineer role, preferably in the food, Berverages or Pharma industry.
