Job summary

Diageo, a global leader in premium drinks, is seeking a Manager to lead Engineering & Maintenance Asset Care. You will own bottling-line asset care, execute PM plans, monitor equipment health, and drive RCAs to eliminate chronic failures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation.
• 3–5 years of experience in bottling/beverage/FMCG/liquor manufacturing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Own asset care for bottling lines; ensure equipment basic conditions and reliability.
• Execute PM plan; ensure PM compliance and timely closure.
• Monitor vibration, thermography, lubrication and equipment condition for predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns; minimize MTTR and production downtime.
• Conduct RCA / 5-Why for chronic failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Drive improvement in Availability, Performance and Quality losses (OEE).
• Maintain filler, rinser, capper, labeller, conveyors, packer, palletizer and inspection systems.
• Support Autonomous Maintenance activities, defect tagging, cleaning, inspection, lubrication and tightening.
• Identify critical spares, monitor consumption and ensure availability.
• Implement Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and track OEE, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, breakdowns.

About the Role

Function -Engineering & Maintenance – Asset Care Reporting - Manager – Engineering & Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Care -Own asset care for bottling lines; ensure equipment basic conditions and reliability.
• Preventive Maintenance Execute PM plan; ensure PM compliance and timely closure.
• Predictive Maintenance Monitor vibration, thermography, lubrication and equipment condition.
• Breakdown Maintenance Troubleshoot breakdown; minimize MTTR and production downtime.
• RCA & Reliability Conduct RCA / 5-Why for chronic failures and implement permanent corrective actions.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Instrumentation.

Experience -3–5 years in bottling / beverage / FMCG / liquor manufacturing maintenance.

Core Skills

• Bottling equipment in liquor Industry, TPM, RCA, FMEA, OEE, predictive maintenance, SAP PM and troubleshooting.
