Sicame India, part of the Sicame Group, is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate daily sand casting activities and ensure adherence to plans, safety, and quality standards. You will monitor processes, track defects, and drive improvements with cross-functional teams in Chennai-based operations.

Applicants should understand moulding, core making, melting, pouring and fettling, with strong MS Excel skills and a commitment to 5S and safe shop-floor practices.

Competenze

• Knowledge of sand-casting processes including moulding, core making, melting, pouring and fettling.
• Ability to monitor production execution and ensure process compliance.
• Familiarity with common casting defects and basic root cause analysis.
• Understanding of work orders, SOPs, and shop-floor documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic production reporting.
• Awareness of safety practices and foundry shop-floor discipline.

Your responsibilities:
