Job summary

Diageo in Banur (Punjab) is seeking a Senior Executive - Commercial to manage procurement, materials control, and inventory operations. The role focuses on controlling purchase orders, receipts, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth production and delivery of brands.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in procurement, strong data analytics, and the ability to coordinate across planning, logistics, and packing teams while maintaining cost controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase, materials control, procurement and inventory functions.
• Knowledge of Purchase, Materials Management and Warehousing practices.
• Strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Check and review purchase order requests and track approvals.
• Monitor receipt and control of daily purchase/production receipts.
• Review and maintain records until invoices are received.
• Organize timely movement of materials within the unit to ensure smooth operations.
• Support logistics cost targets and optimize logistics model.
• Coordinate with planning and packing for proper accounting of recycled bottles and packing materials.
• Prepare timely MIS reports on resource availability and expenditure.
