Job summary

Diageo Nasik is seeking a Senior Executive Blending to lead blending formulation changes, re-engineering, and cost considerations for packing operations. You will collaborate with PnC, Sourcing, and SAP teams to ensure blends meet quality and shelf-life targets while optimizing costs and processes.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of blending experience, strong data-handling skills, and hands-on SAP familiarity, with a background in science or chemical domains.

• Familiarity with SAP and data handling in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Blending re-engineering and changes per requirements.
• Prepare revised formulations and approvals.
• Coordinate with PnC & Sourcing on blend cost workings.
• Approve revised blend BOMs and manage stock liquidation.
• Drive digitization of blending formulas and access control.

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world. About the role:

Purpose of The role : The role is responsible for food flavour management & re-engineering with the objective of controlling flavour movements & extending shelf life with a basic deliverance of catering uniform quality blends for packing operation in a non-disruptive manner.

B.Tech/ M. Tech/B.Sc /M. Sc- Science, Chemical, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Alco Tech, Chemistry, Food Tech

Experience:

2-5 Yrs, Basic Knowledge in Blending, Food safety Knowledge & skills:

• Blending Skills
• IT acumen
• Mathematical and data handling skills
• Personal congruence and Integrity

Best Suited for Someone who:

• Has got excellent organoleptic sensory skills
• Has received any recognition on preparation of blends
• Is familiar in working on SAP

Area Of Responsibility:

1. Blending
   • Blend re-engineering and changes as per requirements, related to BLIMP
   • Prepare revised formulations & approval
   • Implement methods recommended for liquidation of old & non-moving stocks
   • Work out ENA component & Blend cost and approval of e-start-up's for commercialization
   • Provide details of start-up requirements to BCC
2. Operations
   • Co-ordinate with PnC & Sourcing on blend cost workings
   • Co-ordinate with SAP & approve new material codes creation, extension of material to new units, Blend BOM creation & approvals, Blend & SKU codes creation, verification and approvals of Blend BOM's in new units.
   • Approve revised blend BOM's for use & liquidation of old & non moving stocks.
   • Stock-taking of Special Spirits through SAP-reduce manual compilation.
3. Digitization
   • Drive digitization of Blending formulae and access creation for authorized blending i/c's
