Job summary

KSB Company seeks a mechanical engineer with project handling experience in the pump industry. You will convert requirements into technical documents, prepare drawings (GADs) for instruments and electrical equipment, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time documentation and delivery.

The role requires strong SAP SD/PP knowledge, AutoCAD/UG NX proficiency, and a solid grasp of API/VDI/ASTM/DIN/IEC standards.

Qualifications

• Formal education in mechanical engineering (D.M.E. or BE) with relevant experience.
• Experience preferably in pump industry handling project business.
• Knowledge of standards like API, VDI, ASTM, DIN, IEC.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer requirements into documentation.
• Prepare and submit instrument/electrical drawings and related documents (GADs).
• Expedite document submissions and approvals from customers/consultants.
• Create aggregate BOM for accessories per scope.
• Coordinate with vendors to fulfill documentation.
• Ensure timely delivery of documents without commercial penalties.
• Coordinate inter-departmental activities (TSS, PM, PS, Purchase) to progress projects.

Job description

• Convert Customer’s requirements received through Indents from TSS, into documents required by

Customers.

• Prepare & submit project Instrument & Electrical equipment’s (Motor, Panels Junction Box etc) drawing. (GAD’s) & documents as required by Customer/Consultants.
• Expedite document submission & approvals from Customer / Consultants & update document

submission schedules regularly.

• Create aggregate BOM for accessories as per customer scope.
• Closely coordinate with vendor & get the documents to fulfil the documentation requirement,
• Co-ordinate for redressal of issues related to various departments like PM&PS, TSS, Purchase

and production to ensure smooth progress of project.

• Intern department (TSS, PM & PS, Purchase) co-ordination to ensure timely delivery of documents

without commercial impacts (LD’s, penalties etc.) if applicable

• Material code creation for accessories codes as per scope of order.
• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD and Siemens NX for 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and engineering design activities.
• Knowledge of Material grades, API 682, API610. ASTM & GD & T.

Requirement Profile

Formal education: D.M.E. Mechanical / Production with 4 to 6 Years of relevant experience

B. E. - Mechanical / Production with 2 to 3 Years of relevant experience

Professional experience: Preferably from Pump industry with handling project business
