Cencora in India (World Courier India Private Limited) is seeking a logistics specialist to coordinate healthcare and pharmaceutical shipments. You will handle scheduling, carrier bookings, and freight documentation across assigned lanes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures and service levels.

You will mentor junior teammates, support operations leadership with status updates, and maintain audit-ready records while building logistics execution capabilities across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical logistics.

• Strong English communication; Hindi proficiency mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex shipment scheduling, carrier bookings, and freight documentation across lanes.
• Resolve moderately complex carrier issues and delivery exceptions; escalate when needed.
• Monitor shipment status, surface delays and risks for timely resolution.
• Maintain audit-ready logistics records: bills of lading, POD, carrier docs and freight costs.
• Compile performance data and carrier scorecard inputs for reporting and improvement.
• Guide junior operators through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates complex shipment scheduling, carrier bookings, and freight documentation across assigned transportation lanes, confirming accuracy and compliance with established operational procedures and service level standards
• Resolves moderately complex carrier service issues, delivery exceptions, and freight discrepancies, applying working knowledge of logistics procedures and escalating unresolved issues to senior team members.
• Monitors open shipment status, transit performance, and delivery commitments across assigned lanes, surfacing delays, variances, and service risks to operations leadership for timely resolution
• Maintains accurate, audit-ready logistics records including bills of lading, proof of delivery, carrier correspondence, and freight cost documentation across assigned transportation workflows
• Compiles operational performance data, shipment activity summaries, and carrier scorecard inputs that support logistics reporting and continuous service improvement initiatives
• Guides junior operators through procedural coaching, documentation standards reinforcement, and knowledge sharing that build logistics execution capability across the team

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with healthcare logistics, pharmaceutical logistics, clinical trials, temperature-controlled shipments, or express logistics
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, or customer service operations
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) - mandatory
• Hindi language proficiency - mandatory
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Experience handling shipment coordination, documentation, and issue resolution
• Willingness to work full-time onsite, Monday through Saturday, on a rotational shift schedule (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
