Job summary

A leading staffing and services firm located in Vadodara is looking for a Senior Executive – FP&A to support financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, strong skills in financial analysis, advanced proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication abilities. This role will involve revenue and cost analysis, P&L preparation, budgeting, and MIS reporting, providing exposure to a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, MIS, and financial reporting.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue and cost analysis.
• Familiarity with P&L preparation and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform revenue analysis including unbilled revenue and client profitability.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis including employee costs and project margins.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements.
• Develop MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting activities.
• Collaborate with business, sales, and operations to support decision-making.

Job Overview

We are hiring a DAta Analyst to support financial planning and analysis for our Staffing / Services business. This role will be responsible for revenue and cost analysis, P&L preparation, budgeting, MIS reporting, and management financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform revenue analysis including Unbilled revenue, Billings, and Client profitability
• Conduct detailed cost analysis (employee costs, overheads, project-wise margins)
• Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting activities
• Work closely with business, sales, and operations teams to support decision-making
  
  

Skills & Requirements

• Strong experience in FP&A, MIS, and financial reporting
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including:
• VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
• IF conditions
• Pivot Tables & Charts
• Knowledge of Excel Macros and SQL is an added advantage
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
