Job summary

Schneider Electric in Bengaluru seeks a Lead ERP Technical Consultant focused on SAP ABAP for ECC and S4HANA public cloud. You will develop in ABAP OO, create interfaces, and implement CAP and RAP solutions with SAP UI5/Fiori in a global project context.

The role demands 4–8 years of ABAP experience, strong S/4HANA public cloud skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, delivering robust ERP tech solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• 4 - 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming in ECC and S4HANA public cloud.
• Experience with S/4HANA public cloud, CAP, RAP, CDS, AMDP, and SAP UI5/Fiori.

Responsibilities

• Application Development in ABAP environment for ECC, S/4HANA, S4HANA public cloud, CAP, RAP & SAP UI5/Fiori.

Job Title: SAP ABAP S4HANA public cloud/CAP – Lead ERP Technical Consultant

Location: Bengaluru

Responsibilities

• Application Development in ABAP environment for ECC, S/4HANA, S4HANA public cloud, CAP, RAP & SAP UI5/Fiori.
• Building applications with an understanding of SAP coding techniques including BADI, Enhancements, BAPI, User Exits, Dialog Programming, Reports, SAP Scripts, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Interfaces and Conversion Programs.
• Hands‑on experience in development using ABAP Objects and object‑oriented programming within SAP.

Required Skills & Capabilities

• Proficiency in S/4 HANA public cloud, CAP, RAP, CDS, AMDP, table functions, Custom actions, functions, OOABAP, Custom Jobs, Communication setup, CPI integration and API.
• Experience in S4 ABAP for HANA, FIORI, RAP, Custom APIs development with understanding of SAP business documents, master data, transaction data and integration links in SD, MM, FICO and PP modules.
• Exposure to global SAP projects and Cloud Application Programming is an added advantage.

Reporting

Work closely with the technical cluster/template leads and reports to technical delivery manager.
