If you’re interested in solving customer challenges at immense scale, then this is the role for you!”***What You’ll Do**As an Engineering Manager for the *Gateway Security team*, you will be instrumental in forming and scaling high-performing teams, offering dedicated support for individual growth and career progression. Your responsibilities will include:* Collaborate with cross-functional teams distributed globally, including Product Managers, Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers, to define project milestones and deliverables.* Engage closely with the HR and Recruitment teams to attract, onboard, scale, and retain exceptional engineering talent.* Have experience managing teams working at scale with on prem and/or cloud technologies* Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with projects, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.* Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging standards and best practices, to maintain high-quality software development.* Monitor and analyze AWS usage, working with senior management and engineer teams to provide recommendations for cost savings.**What You’ll Bring:*** Strong communication skills with experience in effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Successful track record of project leadership, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects with predictability.* Strong technical background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in designing and developing backend services at scale within AWS.* Experience in building and scaling high-performing engineering teams, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing talent development.* Experience in establishing and enforcing coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes to maintain high-quality software development.* Experience managing hybrid cloud environments is advantegeous**What We Bring**Join our Threat Protection group to accelerate your career journey, working with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to projects that have real customer impact.
