Job summary

Jubilant Pharmova's Nira site seeks a Sr. Engineer - Utility to ensure smooth operation of boilers and steam generation by providing shift support and keeping power plant utilities reliable.

The role involves condition based monitoring of motors, fans and pumps, adherence to IBR regulations, and driving TPM/WCM initiatives through preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. The position reports to the Manager - Utilities and requires 3–5 years in plant maintenance.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech with 3–5 years in power plant maintenance.
• Hands-on maintenance of boilers, turbines, and auxiliaries.
• Exposure to IBR and TPM / WCM initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers and steam generation in shifts.
• Perform condition-based monitoring on motors, fans and pumps.
• Ensure IBR compliance and safety during shift operations.
• Support TPM/WCM initiatives and preventive maintenance.
• Work with team to reduce steam distribution losses.

Summary of Job

• To ensure smooth operation of boilers and steam generation by providing support in shifts.

Key Responsibilities

(Performance Indicators)

• Executing Condition Based Monitoring of motors, fan and pumps and initiating preventive and corrective measures based on analysis.

• Provide assistance in assessment for health of Boiler Pressure parts and Steam Turbines to prevent failures.

• Responsible for adherence to IBR regulations, legal and statutory compliance during the shift operations.

• Responsible for Implementation of various initiatives of TPM / WCM.

• To adhere with preventive and predictive maintenance schedule to avoid B/D.

• Responsible for executing the scheme to cut down steam distribution losses as per plan.

Qualification and Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech with 3-5 years of experience in maintenance of power plants.

Key Competencies ( Technical, Functional and Behavioral)

• Hands on experience in maintenance of boilers, Steam Turbine, Generators and various utilities like; Crushers and Conveyors, Cooling towers, Compressors, pumps etc.

• Exposure to ERP for various analysis.
