Job summary

Dar is seeking an Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV in Pune to design telecommunication systems for commercial, institutional and industrial projects. You will work with architects and engineers to optimize designs, resolve technical issues, and prepare delivery drawings and specifications.

The role involves developing parametric models and computational workflows using Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate tasks and improve design iterations, while adhering to project

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering.
• 5–15 years of proven telecom/ICT/ELV design experience.
• Strong design principles, construction techniques and building systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in computational design and scripting for automation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design telecommunication systems for diverse facilities including DNS, LAN, WDN, SCN, PAS and IP Telephones.
• Coordinate with Architects, Engineers and stakeholders to optimize designs and resolve issues.
• Develop parametric models and workflows to automate repetitive tasks.
• Prepare drawings and documents for Tender/Construction.

We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV to join our dynamic team in Pune. As an Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV at Dar, you will play a pivotal role in designing prestige projects and will coordinate/work closely with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolving design technical issues. As a telecommunication design engineer, you will design various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings and similar facilities, in addition to infrastructure projects. Design activities include the preparation of reliable telecommunication designs and Tender/Construction Drawings and Documents/Specification for the following system:

• Data Network System (DNS)
• Local Area Network (LAN)
• Wireless Data Network (WDN)
• Structured Cabling Network (SCN)
• Voice Communication Systems – IP Telephones
• Electronic Visual Information System (IP Television)
• Public Address System (PAS)
• Master Clock System (MCS)
• Access control system

Additionally, Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV should collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering.
• Proven experience as telecommunication designer (5-15 years).
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation.
• Knowledge about scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.
• Proven experience in computational design, parametric modeling, and scripting languages is desirable but not Mandatory.
• Knowledge of Design Software like AUTOCAD, REVIT…etc.
