Job summary

Dar in Pune seeks an Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV to design and coordinate telecom systems across commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential facilities. You will prepare DNS, LAN, WDN, SCN, IP telephones, IP TV, PAS, MCS, and access control designs and documents, while collaborating with Architects and Engineers to optimize project outcomes.

The role emphasizes computational design via Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, and Python to automate repetitive tasks and iterate designs

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design telecommunication systems for various facilities (DNS, LAN, WDN, SCN, IP telephones, IP TV, PAS, MCS).
• Prepare Construction Drawings and Specifications; bid and construction documents.
• Collaborate with project teams of Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues.
• Develop parametric models and computational workflows using Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit or Python to automate tasks.

We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV to join our dynamic team in Pune. As an Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV at Dar, you will play a pivotal role in designing prestige projects and will coordinate/work closely with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolving design technical issues. As a telecommunication design engineer, you will design various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings and similar facilities, in addition to infrastructure projects. Design activities include the preparation of reliable telecommunication designs and Tender/Construction Drawings and Documents/Specification for the following system:

• Data Network System (DNS)
• Local Area Network (LAN)
• Wireless Data Network (WDN)
• Structured Cabling Network (SCN)
• Voice Communication Systems – IP Telephones
• Electronic Visual Information System (IP Television)
• Public Address System (PAS)
• Master Clock System (MCS)
• Access control system

Additionally, Engineer – Telecom/ICT/ELV should collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering.
• Proven experience as telecommunication designer (5-15 years).
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation.
• Knowledge about scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.
• Proven experience in computational design, parametric modeling, and scripting languages is desirable but not Mandatory.
• Knowledge of Design Software like AUTOCAD, REVIT…etc.
