Veeam is seeking a Public Cloud Data Protection Engineer to provide expert technical support for B2B clients. You will troubleshoot complex cloud data protection scenarios across Azure, AWS, and GCP, manage cases, and contribute to knowledge base content.

About the Role

Technical Customer Support is our customers’ “hotline.” This department has revolutionized the way we think about technical support. They face the challenging reality of one-on-one support and leave our customers with a positive impression, providing invaluable feedback to developers and testers

We are now looking for Public Cloud Data Protection Engineer.

Your tasks will include:

• Providingtechnical support andin-depth troubleshooting for Veeam Software’s clients (B2B) via telephone, email, and web conferencing
• Acting as a technical focal point in relationships to fellow IT Professionals
• Researching and troubleshoot customer problems and inquiries
• Updating and work assigned cases in a timely manner
• Contributing to documentation to build Veeam’s knowledge base
• Work with technical documentation of all customer interactions accurately and within SLA in our CRM tool
• Contributin to documentation to build Veeam’s knowledge base
• Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Veeam’s products and the underlying technologies

What we expect from you:

• Fluent English(reading/writing/speaking).
• Previous troubleshooting/administration experience is required
• Expertise in the following areas:Microsoft Azure(VMs, blob storage; roles, regions, security groups etc.),Amazon AWS(S3, EC2; roles, regions, security groups etc.),Google Cloud Platform(VMs, blob storage, VPC network, regions etc.),Microsoft SQL(SQL Studio, simple queries), MicrosoftWindows Server administration,Linux administration,Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, tools), Backups (concepts, software solutions etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn, understand and explain technical information
• Ability and desire to take ownership of client issues through resolution
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
