Veeam Software in Bengaluru is seeking a Public Cloud Data Protection Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for clients, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to a growing knowledge base. You will liaise with IT professionals, learn rapidly, and own issues through resolution.

Ideal candidates bring cloud platform expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP), SQL Server, Windows/Linux administration, networking, and backup concepts.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Previous troubleshooting/administration experience required.
• Expertise in Azure, AWS, GCP, SQL Server, Windows Server, Linux, Networking, Backups.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and in-depth troubleshooting for Veeam Software's clients (B2B) via telephone, email, and web conferencing
• Acting as a technical focal point in relationships to fellow IT Professionals
• Researching and troubleshoot customer problems and inquiries
• Updating and work assigned cases in a timely manner
• Contributing to documentation to build Veeam's knowledge base
• Work with technical documentation of all customer interactions accurately and within SLA in our CRM tool
• Contributin to documentation to build Veeam's knowledge base
• Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Veeam's products and the underlying technologies

Technical Customer Support is our customers' "hotline." This department has revolutionized the way we think about technical support. They face the challenging reality of one-on-one support and leave our customers with a positive impression, providing invaluable feedback to developers and testers

Your tasks will include:

What we expect from you:

• Expertise in the following areas: Microsoft Azure (VMs, blob storage; roles, regions, security groups etc.), Amazon AWS (S3, EC2; roles, regions, security groups etc.), Google Cloud Platform (VMs, blob storage, VPC network, regions etc.), Microsoft SQL (SQL Studio, simple queries), Microsoft Windows Server administration, Linux administration, Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, tools), Backups (concepts, software solutions etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn, understand and explain technical information
• Ability and desire to take ownership of client issues through resolution
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
