Job summary

RNTBCI PL is seeking a Senior Engineer – Technical Analyst to lead the development of MBD tools for vehicle software. You will design, validate and deploy MATLAB/Simulink based coding solutions aligned with AUTOSAR and MISRA 2023 standards in a fast paced, automotive setting.

Ideal candidates have 9–15 years of MATLAB/Simulink experience, strong scripting skills, and a passion for cutting edge toolchains. The role requires Chennai on-site work with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Matlab Model Based Design using Simulink and Stateflow for automotive/complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR based coding and testing standards.
• Proficiency in MATLAB scripting, Python and VB macros; exposure to other scripting languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop or update Coding Tools platform per OEM guidelines using M-scripting, Python, VBA and MATLAB.
• Understand requirements and streamline inputs with customers; ensure adherence to processes and guidelines.
• Contribute to process improvements, templates, and tool validation with peer reviews.
• Create requirement documents, validation reports and user manuals for tools.
• Perform design reviews and technical reviews for all deliverables.
• Analyze issues, perform impact analysis and implement preventive improvements.
• Act as trainer to coach juniors and peers; keep up-to-date with最新 technologies in software development.
• Enlarge skills through external trainings and online courses.
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance to MISRA and quality standards.
