Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in India seeks a Sr MATLAB ASW Developer / Architect for end‑to‑end software lifecycle in a fast-paced environment. Lead architecture, develop modules in MATLAB/Simulink, and ensure robust integration with sensors and actuators.

The role requires strong model-based development, hardware experience, and proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and Agile practices. Preference for experience with GenAI and Simulink AI Agent. 8–10 years experience expected.

Qualifications

• Top priority: model-based functional development using MATLAB/Simulink and architecture development.
• Experience with hardware interfacing of sensors and actuators.
• Experience in software testing and validation with hardware.
• Experience with software integration and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with CI pipelines and Jenkins.
• Experience across all SDLC phases in Agile projects.
• Nice to have: GenAI/Simulink AI Agent (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Lead the team as an Architect and drive the full software lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Develop functional components in MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow with emphasis on error handling and reusability.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and interfaces to the application.
• Configure ECU pins and perform CAN validation.
• Create and maintain documentation for components and tests.
• Support end customers for clarifications and issue resolution.

Tasks / Responsibilities: *Lead the team as an ArchitectFull software development lifecycle, from requirement engineering and design to development, testing, integration, and documentation & customer coordination/support.Collaborate with stakeholders and PO to develop functional components (FCs) of Application Software (ASW).Develop software with good architecture and lead the team towards the sameImplement new functional components in MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow, with a strong focus on error handling, signal evaluation, and reusability.Develop, configure, and integrate sensors, communication interfaces and other plug-ins to work seamlessly with the application.Integrate functional components into a complete Application Software project via GIT.Configure ECU pins to connect various sensors and actuators.Create and execute comprehensive modules and their corresponding S-functions along with tests for all functional components.Perform desk-based validation and testing of CAN communication, sensor processing, and actuator control using breakout boards and CANalyzer.Create and maintain clear and detailed documentation for all developed functional components.Configure faults with groups & reactions for commissioning & diagnostics functioning.Supporting end customer for clarifications/issue resolution.GenAI based solution wherever needed.Expected skill set: *(Top 5 must have skills in the order of priority):Strong proficiency in model-based functional development using MATLAB/Simulink, advanced MATLAB concepts & Architecture development.Familiarity with hardware usage and the connection of sensors and actuators.Experience in software testing and validation also with hardware.Experience with software integration.Familiarity with GIT for version control.Has a good knowledge of CI pipeline & Jenkins configuration.Have extensive experience in all phases of software development life cycle & good exposure working in Agile based projects .Familiarity with latest Simulink AI Agent (not mandatory).Good to Have skills: Experience working in Agile-based projects. Hands-on experience with software architecture principles. Basic knowledge of (not mandatory) BODAS ecosystem (Bodas Studio). Proficiency in requirement engineering, debugging, issue resolution and software documentation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Hands-on experience with GenAI based development (not mandatory but a plus). Basic knowledge of (not mandatory) PEP process.
