Responsibilities

• Mobile enablement: Build or support mobile-friendly workflows and contribute to React Native, Flutter, or native Android/iOS implementations.
• Full-stack collaboration: Integrate UI with REST APIs, Java/Spring Boot services, Kafka/event-driven workflows, and enterprise data sources.
• Domain delivery: Translate Supply Chain Order Management, Wholesale, and Transportation requirements into intuitive user journeys and reusable components.
• Quality ownership: Own unit, integration, end-to-end, accessibility, regression, and mobile testing using Jest, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.
• Engineering standards: Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and model secure development, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• AI-assisted development: Use GitHub Copilot or similar tools with validation for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Team collaboration: Work with peer engineers, architects, product owners, QA, SRE/DevOps, and stakeholders across geographies.

Position Purpose:

Albertsons Companies' Supply Chain team is hiring a Senior Engineer Software - Front End for the GCC Bangalore team. This individual contributor role will be hands-on and will partner with engineering, design, product, architecture, business stakeholders, and distributed technology teams to deliver web and mobile capabilities for Order Management, Wholesale, and Transportation business functions.

The ideal candidate is a front-end leaning full-stack engineer who can build production-quality React/TypeScript user experiences, contribute to Java/Spring Boot APIs and integrations, and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity without compromising security, quality, or maintainability.

Required Qualifications:
