Silicon Labs is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help design and implement low-level firmware for next‑generation SoCs/ASICs in Hyderabad. You will work across pre‑silicon enablement to post‑silicon bring‑up, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality embedded software.

• 4–7+ years of embedded firmware/software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Embedded C and Python.
• Experience with bootloaders, BSPs, device drivers, HAL, and RTOS (FreeRTOS/Zephyr).
• Knowledge of ARM and RISC-V architectures and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet).
• Strong debugging skills using JTAG, GDB, Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Experience with silicon/board bring-up and hardware-software integration.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to subsystem development.

About the Role

• Support silicon bring-up, board bring-up, hardware validation, debugging, and production enablement.
• Develop and optimize firmware for performance, power, memory, and reliability.
• Debug hardware/software issues using JTAG, GDB, Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
