Job summary

Marmon Technologies India Private Limited, part of Marmon Holdings (Berkshire Hathaway), invites you to join as a Software Engineer - Full Stack (3–6 years). You will participate in design activities, create high level designs, and develop features for web, desktop or mobile apps while debugging and improving software quality.

You will gain hands-on experience with APIs, web services, desktop apps and UI/UX, contributing to end-to-end software development and QA practices in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in C#/VB and at least one frontend scripting language.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS for UI.
• Experience with Visual Studio tools.
• GitHub experience for versioning.
• Manual and automated testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in software design activities including high-level design and architecture.
• Full stack development: write code for web, desktop or mobile apps to build new features and fix issues.

This is a Software Engineering role (Full Stack Developer) [Exp 3-6 Years] focused on the design, development and QA of Software systems for Marmon Technologies India Pvt Ltd, an Industry group within Marmon Holdings. The role involves assisting in Software Design activities such as coming up HLD (High Level Design), Architecture and Data Flow Diagrams; Full Stack Software Development activities like writing computer programs for web, desktop or mobile applications - new and existing - for the purpose of building new features, bug fixing, enhancements and change requests. Thus, strong debugging skills is required. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in working with APIs, Webservices, Desktop applications and UI/UX while learning industry-standard design, development and debugging practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Familiarity with .Net Framework
• Exposure to at least two programming languages - C#/VB and One of the Frontend Scripting languages (any Js framework)
• Ability to understand UI/UX languages (HTML, CSS etc.)
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Enterprise and Visual Studio Code
• Prior exposure to GitHub and ability to use it for code storage and versioning
• Manual and Automated Testing Skills

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
• High level understanding of Mechanical Engineering terms especially related to Thermodynamics
• Understanding of deployment methods - deployment to local host, cloud and application stores

Desired Skills:

• Interest in upcoming Software Development practices like Vibe Coding, Agentic AI and CI/CD
• Ability to generate code from one of the AI tools (Microsoft CoPilot, Claude or GitHub Copilot)
