Job summary

Blue Star Limited in Wada, Maharashtra is hiring a Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance to supervise incoming material inspections, monitor supplier rejections, and drive continual quality improvements. The role involves PPAP, supplier audits, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, SCM, and manufacturing to resolve rejections and ensure regulatory compliance.

The candidate will participate in NPD projects, conduct CP-Cpk/MSA studies, and prepare Quality MIS.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma with specialization in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics.
• Experience: around 3 years 8 months in quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise incoming inspection of the materials as per Drawings, Inspection plans, Specifications.
• Track, monitor & control Supplier rejections as per defined KPIs
• Improve supplier Quality performance through RCA & CA, Continual improvements.
• Analysis customer complaints and initiate corrective actions.
• Monitor ECN, carry out first piece inspection and provide first piece approval through PPAP.
• Conduct audits at suppliers and identify NCs. / OFI for continual improvements.
• Review supplier Quality documents & ensure compliance to drawing / technical specifications / regulation requirements
• Adopt and follow IMS (Integrated Management System) and ensure processes are followed in line with Quality Manual. Conduct interna audits and ensure compliance to standard requirement and continual improvements.
• Conduct CpCpk study , MSA studies as applicable.
• Monitor Gauge Calibration for all the measurement & inspection instruments.
• Participate in NPD project and ensure verification and validation of first parts through PPAP.
• Prepare Quality MIS at defined frequency.
• Interact with Internal / external Stakeholders (Suppliers, R&D, SCM, Manufacturing , Customers) to analysis the rejections at IQC, Production lines and failure at field.
• Coordinate with third party inspection agencies for material / component verification
