Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Pune, India, seeks a Senior QA Engineer for the Advanced Distribution Planning System (ADPS) platform. The role focuses on validating the quality of .NET/C# applications, designing test plans, and driving QA practices across the SDLC.

You will work with product and development teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and evaluate AI-based testing tools while maintaining comprehensive test documentation and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Engineering from accredited institution
• Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics & Telecomm Engineering from accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of software quality assurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests.
• Validate functionality, performance, and security of .NET and C# applications.
• Analyze defects and collaborate with developers on solutions.
• Promote QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Work closely with development and product teams to ensure requirements are thoroughly tested.
• Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies.
• Evaluate and implement modern testing tools, including AI-based solutions.
• Maintain complete test documentation and quality metrics.
