Job summary

Linde India Limited in Indore, part of the global Linde group, seeks a Senior Engineer O&M for PGP Operations in Pithampur. You will manage plant operations, oversee cylinder filling, and ensure safety, quality, and uninterrupted production.

The role requires at least 5 years of related experience in engineering, strong safety/process knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. On-site position with a focus on meeting KPIs and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plant operations or industrial gas environments.
• Experience with cylinder filling and plant operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety, process compliance, and equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient and continuous operation of the PGP plant during the shift.
• Strive for zero safety incidents; report near misses/incidents/accidents.
• Organize safety programs for the plant (toolbox talks, safety meetings, awards).
• Ensure products meet prescribed quality standards as laid down by the company.
• Plan and coordinate with raw material suppliers to ensure timely inputs meeting quality standards.
• Maintain traceability and quality testing from source to delivery per SOPs.
• Prepare MIS reports monthly, daily and shift reports for lant operations.
• Meet KPIs for production targets, productivity, loss reduction, and cost control.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this job role you have to ensure safe, efficient and continuous operation of PGP plant during the shift
• You have to work towards ensuring Zero Safety Incidents at Plant. Report any Near Miss/Incident/Accident
• Furthermore, you have to organize safety programs the Plant, including Toolbox talks/Safety Meetings/awards etc
• Then you have to ensure products manufactured/supplied meet prescribed quality standards as laid down by the company
• In this job role you have to plan and coordinate with raw material suppliers'/source locations to ensure timely receipt of inputs for production that meet the required input quality standards
• You need to ensure quality testing is carried out, and traceability is maintained from source to delivery for all products as per the defined SOPs
• Then You have to maintain Batch & Quality control records for medical gases including incoming raw materials accounting of all purchases and ensuring timely payments to vendors
• You have to prepare MIS reports monthly, daily and shift reports pertaining to lant operations
• You have to meet KPIs for the plant such as Production Targets, Productivity, Loss reduction, Cost Control, Cylinder Tracking etc.

• You must have a university degree in relevant Engineering
• You should have an experience of 5 years with a relevant engineering degree
• You must have experience in Cylinder filling and Plant operation will be an added benefit
• You must have skills for MS office particularly in MS. Excel, PowerPoint presentation
