Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Highways Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary highway design projects on offshore executed programs. You will work with Civil3D, Open Roads, and AutoCAD to deliver design solutions that meet local and international standards.

The role requires a Masters in Civil Engineering, 8–12 years of consultancy experience, and strong client liaison skills to work with UK-based clients. The position is based in Bangalore with hybrid and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
• Proven experience delivering highway projects.
• Experience with design codes (KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTO).
• Strong English communication and client liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead highway design projects to time and budget.

Working in a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world renowned consultant.

Your Role

• Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College.
• Have relevant experience in the region of around 8 to 12 years in consultancy business working on highways and related features.
• Experienced user of Civil3D/ Open Roads, MX design, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge in highways design codes and standards. (KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO).
• Experience implementing quality standards and procedures.
• A very good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects.

About You

• Holds a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Expert in the use of Civil3D ,Open Roads road design software and AutoCAD.
• Experience of using AutoDesk Civils 3D for the design of highway schemes.
• Experience of the design of grade separated junctions.
• Experience of the design of pipe drainage networks.
• Working knowledge of KSA/Qatar/UAE/DMRB/AASHTHO.
