Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Planning & Execution Lead & execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Conduct daily maintenance tier meetings and monitor maintenance KPI like MTTR,MTBF,OEE &Cost.
- Analyze equipment breakdowns using Quality tools and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prioritizing the breakdowns and accordingly attending the same.
- Sound knowledge on TPM implementation and drive the TPM culture in the organization.
- Able to plan and delegate the responsibilities to technicians at times and ensure results are delivered.
- Review the spare parts inventory and ensure critical spare parts are defined and inventory is maintained.
- Develop the trouble shooting catalogue for each of the production machines.
- Drive the continual improvements for the department, also drive compete projects.
- Optimization of layout for improved efficiency, cycle time of machines, using LEAN concepts.
- Develop skill matrix, identify the skill gaps for team and ensure required trainings are provided.
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Lead troubleshooting activities during equipment breakdowns.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and failure analysis Lean Six Sigma Method.
- Ensure quick restoration of equipment to minimize downtime.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
- Always meet the department KPI’s like MTTR, MTBF and PM adherence.
- Team Supervision Direct and mentor to maintenance technicians and junior engineers.
- Allocate maintenance tasks and monitor work completion.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to maintenance staff.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure LOTO, safety standards including the PPE’s are followed by team.
- Maintain proper maintenance documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.
- Spare Parts & Inventory Management Oversee departmental maintenance budgets, optimize spare parts inventory, and control repair costs.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of spare parts and consumables.
- Evaluate vendors and maintenance service providers.
- Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Support TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Participate in energy-saving and reliability improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in, Electrical &Electtonics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process industries.
- Experience in handling maintenance planning and troubleshooting activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance systems.
- Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Understanding of CNC Machine,PLCs, automation systems, and utility equipment.
- PLC Program and troubleshooting(Simens, Delta,ABB, BECOFF).
- Hands of experience MES(Manufacturing Execution System )
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills Why Why analysis,Fishbone diagram, DIMAIC Leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with CMMS software Like SAP, Other local CMMS system, Power App.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or Reliability Engineering.
- Certification in maintenance or safety management.
- Experience with SAP PM or similar maintenance systems.
- Good experience in SOP, SWI, ISO documents.
