Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure operations or system administration.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, VMware, and Hyper‑V.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Python.
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator or AWS SysOps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex AWS infrastructure issues to ensure system availability and performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Manage identity and access governance across AD, Azure AD, Entra, and Okta.
• Lead routine maintenance such as patching, backups, and capacity planning.

Job description

The Role:

The Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Operations is responsible for managing and enhancing the performance, reliability, and scalability of the company's core IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, IT Operations, this role provides advanced technical leadership in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud environments. The right candidate brings deep infrastructure expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong sense of ownership in delivering seamless IT services to internal users. Success in this role requires a combination of technical depth, operational discipline, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-impact technology environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex AWS infrastructure issues to ensure system availability and optimal performance
• Assist IT Engineering with Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services
• Manage identity and access governance across platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and Okta
• Lead routine maintenance activities such as patching, backups, and capacity planning across critical systems
• Support change, configuration, and asset management processes and ensure documentation is consistently maintained
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and new technologies
• Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity strategies
• Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
• Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
• Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with at least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations or system administration roles is required. Equivalent years of related work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Proficiency with server, storage, network, and virtualization technologies such as Windows Server, VMware, and Hyper‑V is required.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra, and Okta is required.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell or Python is required.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or VMware Certified Professional are preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical teams, leadership, and end users.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility in maintaining infrastructure reliability and performance.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country without visa sponsorship.
